An Invitation from David

 

Dear Study Group Members:

 

June, 2015 marks the 30th anniversary of the first Study Group meeting.  It would have been hard for me to imagine at that first meeting of five petroleum marketers in Spokane, Washington that Study Groups would develop into what they have become.  Today, we are grateful to have the opportunity to serve over 400 Study Group members in 40 different Study Groups with 18 facilitators and 8 support team members participating. 

 

To celebrate, we would like to invite you to join our Study Groups team and members from a number of our Study Groups on a Western Mediterranean Cruise leaving Barcelona on June 21st and returning on June 28th, 2015. Ports of call include our departure and return city of Barcelona, Spain; Naples, Italy; Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy; Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Italy; Cannes, France; and the island stop of Palma Majorca, Spain.  You will enjoy a time of networking in a relaxed environment, stimulating educational seminars, and great sightseeing with your family and friends. There will be time in port for you to do independent activities or to participate in trips organized just for our group. After your day in port we’ll plan on receptions and dinner together onboard the ship.  

 

Onboard the ship we’ll have a day and a half available for seminar meeting times plus the opportunity for several breakfast seminars before we head ashore.  Topic areas for planned seminars include sales and marketing, business strategy, enterprise management, finance and economics, management information systems, and organizational leadership, and personal effectiveness. 

 

I hope you’ll make plans now to join us as we work and learn together, make new friends and enjoy existing friendships, and explore a very beautiful part of the world.
